Nirmala Bakubhai Foundation
The Nirmala Bakubhai Foundation (NB Foundation) is a public charitable trust, registered under The Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950 at Ahmedabad. Its purpose is to expand access to education, health and social welfare, particularly for people in vulnerable situations.
To this end, we provide financial support to a range of not-for-profit organisations within India.

Facilities
Ashram Road Guest House
The NB Foundation has a campus on the Ashram Road in Ahmedabad which is split into two sites on either side of the road. Many of the buildings on the campus are on long-lease to the B.M. Institute of Mental Health.
The eastern campus includes a Guest House situated in its own garden within the compound, which is available for rent to not-for-profit organisations within the broad aims of the NB Foundation. It is an air-conditioned self-contained two bedroom house, with a living room, dining room, kitchen and bathrooms.

Chandanwadi
The NB Foundation has a walled 1.5 acre plot in Shahibag, Ahmedabad, which is available for rent to not-for-profit organisations within the broad aims of the NB Foundation. Its amenities include a parking area for 50-100 cars; a maidan for multi-purpose use; a small service building with two rooms, a kitchen, toilets and washing areas; and 24-hour security.
